to live,or not to live: that is the question.

Hi Lindy,
How about a few words I didn't write, but I enjoy:

"Where is he/she, this natural man who lives a truly human life? Who, caring nothing for the opinions of others, acts only in accord with his impulses and reason, without regard for the praise or blame of society? In vain do we seek him among us. Everywhere only a varnish of words; all men seek their happiness in appearance. No one cares for reality, everyone stakes his essence on illusion. Slaves and dupes of their self-love, men live not in order to live, but to make others believe that they have lived !" by Rosseau

Have a great tomorrow, kido ;-^)

Creativite transformation

I am convinced everything happens for a reason but life's serendipity still amazes me. I have relied on the service industry for about 10 years to put me through college and then as a security net after. Finally deciding I wasn't going to settle I jumped and I find that it is not my previous job security that catches me but the skills and gifts I cherish that are keeping me afloat.
I think most of us have the tendency to stay where we are safe (job, relationship, dogmatic belief system, etc.) but not fulfilled.
Why not live a life you love that inspires growth and awe?
What would you do if you were to jump?
What would you do if you new you could not fail?

Rainy Days

I absolutely love the weather, rain or shine :) I am in my hometown today and it is a lovely rainy day. If you are anything like me, sometimes we may get really fired up over exciting ideas. And rightfully so! But sometimes when we run our engines on high we may miss some significant details that will help bring these exciting ideas to life, and could send us spinning in to a world of confusion.

The rain helps ground me, it also nourishes the earth. If I can remain grounded while actively pursuing my passions and interests I find that I am like the rain...better able to nourish this world.

We have more time than we will ever need :) Enjoy the journey.

My Poem of Equinimity

"I love the journey that never ended,
but only recently remembered.

I'm happy to know, the road is there
and usually I'm not far from it.

The true bliss of it all
is simply knowing
that it all already is
and it is Good."

Balance. I found myself in tears today concerning current confusion and impending change...but a good friend helped me remember that the beauty of life is the chaos that inspires new growth and the resulting balance, new insight and understanding. Life is cyclical and when things seem to be overwhelming, confusing, drastically changing simply hold on and ride the waves. When things get confusing remember, we are never given more than we can handle and usually were not far off from our goals and aspirations...

I hope for a happy day for you.

Happy Birthday Dad! Good or bad let's all send love out to the parents of this world. Life is what you make it and Dad has always made it a good one! Here I am today, ready to embark on a new journey in unfamiliar terrain...and doing it in costume!

Enjoy your Halloween, celebrating a day we can all step outside of ourselves and become a new character in the story of our life.

love you dad :)
